Shaw Communications Getting Into The Mobile Phone Market?
Now there are the companies that do just straight cellphones don't have anything to lose as they don't have a stake in the other parts of the communications market. But Shaw has a lot to either gain or lose. Shaw could go bankrupt if this doesn't work. But is this a good move? Or is it step they need to do? Who knows, but they need to do something to remain relevant in the communications business. They say they might not be relevant in five years. One thing is for sure that it will be interesting to see how it goes, where it goes, and how far they go with this."A recent article from the Globe and Mail says that Shaw, better known for their cable services and high speed internet, is considering the adding of cellular phones to their product lineup.
In an interview with a Globe and Mail reporter, president Jim Shaw said, “When the company does include cellphone service in product bundles, it will likely be a rebranded “white label” product from Bell Canada or Rogers Communications Inc..
“We’ve always said that we’re going to focus on the Digital Phone product first and then we’ll give some due consideration to [mobile phones],” he told the analysts. “It’s a ‘nice to have’ but not a ‘have to have’ [product],” he said.
Mr. Shaw said his firm has the opportunity to “white label, where we would attach with an existing [cellular] carrier — it could be a Rogers or a Bell — and brand it Shaw."

More Snow
I know it's Saskatchewan and I shouldn't be surprised that it is snowing in April. It's not that I am surprised. It is the fact that we had nice days last week and I was in my shorts. I hope the snow doesn't stick around and we get to some good weather again. I want to bust out my shorts again.

Beaver Creek Conservation Area
Beaver Creek Conservation Area is south of Saskatoon. So if you are going that way, take a trip out to Beaver Creek. It's a cool place and with the nice weather we have been having, it's a good time to go. Hopefully I can get out there more during the summer.

It's Easter
Now for a great non-religious Easter gift for wrestling fans is that Christopher Daniels returned to ROH. TNA released him and TNA's lose is ROH's gain.
For a Christian gift, we get the gift of Jesus' death and resurrection. He is risen!
Hope you are having a happy Easter so far.
Happy Easter peeps!

Change The Anthem?
Let's look at why there is no point in doing this. Firstly, like I said, it is going to waste taxpayers money when it can be spent on something more useful and needed. Secondly, the national anthem is fine just way it is. Thirdly, are you going to go back to its original lyrics "in all thou dost stand?" It might take some getting used to on the third thing.
I was listening to a replaying of John Gormley Live last night and they were talking about this issue. John Gormley took a quick 60 second phone poll and wanted to see how many said yes or no to changing the national anthem. The end result was 100 percent of the people said no to changing the anthem. So 13 people said no. When they talked and debated the issue, some said that if you change one little thing in favor of political correctness, then you have to change everything in favor of political correctness. I do agree, that some minuscule doesn't need to be changed because of some feminist groups. If you change that, then you have to change everything in the anthem to appease all groups. Then you will have an anthem so diluted and a shell of its former self, that it will not be uniquely Canadian. Or they talked about the national anthem being tradition which it is. Nobody has complained before about this tradition. So why now?
Do you think that the Canadian national anthem should be changed? I definitely do not. Stephen Harper usually never listens to these groups, so why now? This is why Stephen Harper is not the best choice for prime minister. First he prorogues parliament, then next he wants to change to the national anthem. What next, he wants to do a study on how water quenches your thirst? With Harper possibly doing a study on changing the national anthem... I wouldn't doubt he would do such a thing.
You American's think Brack Obama is wasting money? Take a look at Stephen Harper then say that.
